Hi Anya..Hang in there..I am now at 5 months post op from trimaleolar fracture of the ankle, and only now do I feel that I am above the clouds. The PT and therapeutic massage was very painful but def worth it and you do need to also work on that scar tissue yourself. My ankle still looks quite fat and I may consider getting the metalwork out but thought of another op is not too appealing.
