Not many changes from last week. Continuing with PT / Scar Tissue Release, can't run yet, but hopefully soon. Will now reduce my updates to once per month and I will keep you updated.  Always feel free to comment with any questions my dear readers. Thanks and happy healing. :o)

  2. Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet
Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick
heads up! Other then that, great blog!

  3. Hey I just came to know about your site. I have a few questions. I ll be glad if you can answer them, thanks.

I broke both my tibia and fibula on 14th Jan while playing soccer. I had my operation on 16th and they inserter an IR rod. 15 days later they cut my stitches and now it looks all fine. There was a lot of swelling and now its gone. There was hardly any pain.

However my college is going on. That is my only worry. The semester exams will start from May end. I just need to know from when can I walk. Atleast, a little bit so that I can go and do some classes. Now I am not allowed to put any pressure on my leg now. I just want to walk or even trudge. The doctor said that I can do anything after 6-8 months. But I want to know when I can walk again. :(

    Thanks a lot.

    1. Reallyoldturtle thanks for visiting. Sorry to hear about your injury. That sucks but it will get better. You had your operation a month ago which means you are out of the woods. Are you getting any Physical Therapy [PT] at home? That was crucial to my recovery. With PT i started walking 3 months after my operation. Why did they say 6-8 months? That seems a bit long. Maybe 8 months to full recovery? I would say by April 16 you will be able to walk. Just in time for the nice weather. if you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask! Happy Healing

    2. Thanks for the quick reply.

And yes, 8 months till full recovery. But I hope that I can walk by mid-April. I don't want to lose a semester. PT is going on. I've read your previous posts, and they are more or less similar.

I am really glad I found this blog. I mean the doctors say everything but its really reassuring to read what a similar person's experiences are. And my x-rays looks shockingly similar to yours!

What about you? I guess you've completely healed by now.

  4. Thanks! I am glad this was of some help. Everyone's healing experience is different however I am glad mine is of help to you. Yes I am completely healed now. I remember a few weeks ago I couldn't even remember which leg I broke! Once in a while when i do yoga I notice the metal inside however it does not bother me, i am just aware of some hardware and then i don't feel it. You have two months to go. PT is crucial make sure you do your exercises and also do an alphabet a few times a day with your toe to strengthen or begin strengthening your weak muscles. I I know right now this seems like eternity however you will get there, just like I did. In the mean time practice things you always wanted to do, i.e...finish that great novel, practice guitar or a musical instrument if you play, watch interesting films and soon before you realize it warm spring weather will be upon us and you will be walking and soon running!

  6. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout
of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to
say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?

  7. I don't drop many remarks, however I read some of the remarks on this page "Post Op Week 14". I actually do have some questions for you if you don't mind.
Is it just me or does it appear like some of the remarks appear like they
are written by brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are writing at other online social sites, I would like
to follow everything new you have to post.
Could you make a list of every one of your social pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page
    or twitter feed?

  8. Hi my injury took place a few years ago. Everything I have experienced I have written on here. I have not written in detail on face-book, the only social network site I have. This blog was a pure intention for me to get through my injury while writing what I have observed week by week and help other healers to get through their injury.
